The Capricorn hen is traditional, ambitious, decisive and determined. She is a sensible, practical, down to earth type and makes a loyal friend. She's also a hard worker who takes all aspects of life seriously, including the enjoyment of her leisure activities – she'll enjoy herself but is not one to shout about it and it will be up to you and the rest of the hen party to make sure she has a seriously good time! A good sense of humour and a dry wit are positive traits. Capricorns tend to play safe and aren't interested taking big risks.

Destinations:
Capricorns enjoy hills, mountains and destinations with a bit of history. Scotland, France Greece and Spain all appeal with cities like Edinburgh, Leeds, Brussels and Barcelona high on the list.

Day activities:
Action activities she'd enjoy include climbing, coastreering and circus skills; a ski weekend would be good if it's the right time of year. More leisurely activities might include golf, croquet and walking. She appreciates activities that offer a practical reward so consider a shopping trip to a designer outlet, a wine tasting course or a recording studio session. Spa pampering and beauty treatments are a great way for her to relax, she might even be up for a dedicated spa weekend.

Evening activities:
She'll appreciate a convention approach to the evening; a meal, a few drinks in a bar and then onto a club in the time honoured way. A comedy club or magic show evening might be good alternatives.

Capricorn's body focus is the skeleton, so saucy devil horns might be appropriate too.

Hens on the cusp:
