Aries, the Ram – hen weekend horoscope
March 21st – April 19th
Fire sign

Arians are fun-loving, full of energy and are always ready for action. They are adventurous, impulsive, fearless, independent, ambitious and enthusiastic. Aries is a fire sign ruled by Mars, the red planet, so watch out, the Aries hen can be a bit of a hot head and you may need to hold her back if things look like they are getting out of hand! Arians make great friends so the hen weekend guest list will probably be a long one, be sure not to leave anyone out!

Destinations:
Arians love exploring new places, so plan the hen weekend somewhere she's never been before. A cool destination will contrast well with her fiery nature, perhaps somewhere in the UK, Ireland, Germany or Poland. Suitable cities might be Naples, Dublin, Prague or Krakow. Or why not push the boat out and head for Reykjavik, now that really is cool!

Day activities:
Arians are the rule breakers and risk takers so she'll enjoy action sports and adrenalin activities, try white water rafting, bungee jumping, zorbing, zip wire or mountain biking. Away from action girl activities she'll love a go at pole dancing! Or indulge her love of fashion with a personal shopper, a fashion show or a trip to a designer outlet.

Evening activities:
She'll definitely be up for a spot of clubbing; just make sure is somewhere with a lot of action and plenty of opportunity to dance. A saucy male cabaret act or her own personal stripogram would go down a storm too.

Eating style:
Anything hot and spicy, Thai, Indian or Mexican are all good choices. Alternatively she'll enjoy a juicy steak or a barbecue.

Drinking style:
Sauvignon Blanc and anything made with Tequila suit her best. Arians are easily carried away so she will need to watch how much she drinks; red wine isn't her best friend but champagne makes a great alternative for the hen night!

Hen night dress and themes:
Aries hens are very fashion conscious and love glamorous, sexy clothes especially when it's a designer label or a good imitation. Their colours are bright primaries, particularly red, scarlet and yellow. They enjoy standing out in a crowd and are not afraid to show a bit of flesh, giving you lots of scope for hen night themes. The Aries body focus is the head, so hats and headgear could make a good theme. Or why not use masks; there are some fantastic ones available, from straightforward half-face masks to wild Mardi Gras affairs with feathers and sequins in all directions. Other suggestions are: 'ladies in red', movie stars or belly dancers.

Hens on the cusp:
If your hen was born on the cusp of two signs (i.e. a day or so either side of the start and end dates) then she may be influenced by a mix of both signs; if that’s the case then read the suggestions for both signs – move on to Taurus or back to Pisces.
