Fundraising holidays
We list direct challenge events organised by the charities themselves as well as dedicated challenge event organising companies that set up, arrange and promote fundraising holidays, multi-day events and expeditions on behalf of charities. Often these will be bespoke events for specific named causes, but many also offer open challenges that allow you to raise funds for any charity of your choice – excellent for less well known causes.

Travel-quest's Charity challenge expeditions & fundraising holidays category lists organised charity challenges, fundraising holidays and expeditions created for fundraising purposes, where participants raise sponsorship for the charities involved; or where a (significant) percentage of the fee goes to charity. These will be multi-day events and may involve taking part in a challenging sporting activity (such as a marathon run, a long distance bike ride or climbing a high trekking peak), or where the challenge is in a cultural, artistic, educational or community area (such as building a school, teaching computer skills or planting trees). This includes dedicated challenge organising companies who arrange and promote fundraising holidays and expeditions on behalf of particular charities or as open events that allow sponsorship for any cause.
